Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Actively manage and monitor our SEO reporting tools to make recommendations and advise stakeholders on needed changes to web pages.
  • Conducts visual layout and technical implementation of content in Content Management System with appropriate tagging and accessibility items addressed.
  • Maintains metadata and other inputs in the system to optimize search engine results.
  • Performs image optimization, tagging and manipulation tasks such as creating thumbnails, image resize, file format conversion, simple image edits and labeling with an alternative text.
  • Continually monitors the website in a proactive manner to ensure that content is current, compliant with accessibility standards and pages are free of errors.
  • Refreshes high-level page content on a weekly basis, and proactively identifies content opportunities to elevate brand messaging and accommodates time for approval, planning, and execution.
  • Responsive to user-inquiries and works with Director to prioritize larger requests and manage expectations.
  • Coordinating distribution of digital information on TV monitors across campus.
  • Supports Director of Digital Strategy in establishing governance policies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-year experience in website management. 
  • Experience manipulating image files for use in websites using Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Experience using a Content Management System.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Balance big-picture proble-solving with details-oriented execution.
