Position Description
Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions
*Serve as primary administrative support to the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs and the SHP Student Affairs division.
*Manage business affairs for OASA.
*Prepare and maintain financial reporting for OASA.

*Assist with communications and marketing project requests.
*Manage and respond to SHP student affairs email.
*Answer phone, discern priority & nature of calls, direct calls and provide information to prospective students.
*Generate and mail student affairs correspondence.
*Respond to general SHP inquiries and assist faculty, staff and students with administrative matters.

*Assist with SHP publications.
*Maintain an extensive knowledge of TTUHSC policies and procedures as they pertain to finance and administration.
*Record and distribute meeting minutes and materials for OASA staff meetings.
*Participate in planning and execution of SHP events.
*Schedule advising/meeting appointments utilizing Outlook calendar resources. Coordinate meetings and reserve meeting locations for OASA personnel.
*Use student information systems to perform job related duties.
*Manage OASA student assistant work schedules and OASA staff leave requests.
*Maintain SHP print collateral and office supply inventory for the OASA.
*Ensure proper storage of confidential SHP ASA files, such as student misconduct/grievance documents, personnel documents and fiscal documents.
*Serve as hiring manager and facilitate all hiring processes including requisition development and all necessary authorizations for employee on-boarding.
*Coordinate event/recruitment registrations for OASA.
*Serve as primary administrative support for all misconduct/grievance cases.
*Maintain OASA personnel professional development records.
*Maintain OASA professional organization memberships and oversee renewal process.
*Develop administrative and business processes for the OASA.
*Maintain the ability to work well with co-workers, faculty, staff and students while providing excellent customer service and multi-tasking.
*Maintain strict confidentiality for applicants, current students, faculty and staff.
*Performs related work as required.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
