Position Description
Responsible for the development, coordination, administration and management of a unit.

Major/Essential Functions

*Build and maintain Slate and WebAdmit application platforms. 

*Manage the SHP application process.  Supervise application processing for 20 degree programs on 4 campuses.  Verify updated admission applications and submit complete files for evaluation by admission evaluators. 

*Manage online mechanism that allows ASA Associate Dean, Director of Admissions, Program Directors, ASA staff, and admission committees access for updated application information and admission decision information. Track the application numbers weekly and extend admissions offers.

*Assist with Slate, Banner and Xtender tasks as needed to process applications, extend offers in the system, update admission status in the system, process admission contracts, and oversee placement guarantee fees.

*Oversee supplemental documentation processing such as contacting applicants for missing documentation and processing all documentation.

*Manage application reporting for SHP.

*Manage SHP admissions email account.

*Supervise ASA staff assigned to application processing tasks and direct tasks as needed.  Supervise assigned student assistants and direct tasks as needed.

*Assist applicants and current and prospective students.

*SHP point of contact for third party application services.  Process and assign 3rd party applications for evaluation.

*Assist with SHP special events.  Check the SHP admissions email daily and answer accordingly.  Update the online catalog when changes are requested.

*Maintain the ability to work well with co-workers, faculty, staff and students while providing excellent customer service and multi-task with ease.

*Perform related work as required and other duties as assigned.

*Observe work safety rules.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of and experience with higher education admissions processes to include experience in Banner student system, Xtender, Slate, WebAdmit, TouchNet and OU campus.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
