Incumbents in this position are trained to portray specific sets of health problems and symptoms that will aide students in learning the proper techniques and procedures for taking medical histories, performing medical examinations, determining diagnoses, and learning the appropriate way to educate and inform patients of diagnoses.
Performing a variety of duties in order to accurately and consistently portray specific types of symptoms as defined by a patient case. This may include memorizing the history of their present illness, past medical history, physical exam results as well as demonstrating appropriate body language, emotional status, and personality characteristics. Standardized patients will be monitored to ensure the proper information is given per case.
Minimum Hire Rate
- Must have access to and check email on a daily basis.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have the ability to memorize content and portray content via communication.
