Position Description
Performs semi-professional work on various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained. May supervise specialized clerical section.

Major/Essential Functions
  1. Performs audits on benefits and payroll system reporting concerning benefits and records to resolve discrepancies and errors
  2. Aids HR campus operations staff regarding accuracy of forms and data entry
  3. Works closely with ISO staff to process daily assignments and meet deadlines
  4. Assists in MPIP administration and departmental reporting
  5. Assists with creating and distributing promotional materials and schedule educational meeting for all campuses
  6. Updates and evaluates the benefits sections of the HR website
  7. Reviews daily benefits processes and procedures to assist HR campus operations staff to elevate transactional efficiencies
  8. Documents vendor problems through generalist feedback to hold H&W partners accountable
  9. Assist in analyzing TTUHSC electronic personnel actions (ePAFs) for accuracy and processing from the beginning of the process to completion
  10. Enters tax and benefit deductions in payroll system according to payroll deadlines
  11. Assist in ensuring Team Member records are precise and all data is completely, accurately entered in appropriate system
  12. Coordinates efforts to retrieve and enter missing data & documents
  13. Assist in Texas state agency reporting
  14. Assists with periodic internal reviews / audits to ensure compliance with documented processes and procedures
  15. Enhances and updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and participating in professional organizations
  16. Other special projects and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
High school plus 4 years experience. Additional education may substitute on a year for year basis. Experience excludes volunteer experience.
