Position Description
Performs personal, vocational, educational, or other advanced counseling or training at the individual or group level. Responsibilities include analyzing special and/or complex problems and management of counseling programs. May supervise counselors or other employees. Performance is based on individual counseling effectiveness and overall program results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions
Provides individual and group substance abuse counseling services, as well as intake assessments, for individuals completing treatment in Intensive Outpatient Program. 

Intake reports, progress notes, monthly treatment reports, treatment plans, chart management.

Schedule Details
Individual sessions will be scheduled in the afternoon, but groups will be in evening hours throughout the week, so evening hours will be required.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in area of professional counseling, marriage and family counseling or other related field. Licensed within the state of Texas as LPC, LMFT, LPCi, or LMFT(a) or other related licensure.
