Major/Essential Functions
-Provide end user with ePAF (electronic personnel action form) assistance. Process ePAFs and enter initial benefit deductions.
-Responsible for submission of state HRIS report of Human Resources records and correction of errors.
-Process invoices, order supplies, and handle incoming mail distributions for the department.
-Process reimbursements of employee tuition assistance.
-Work with management team to identify strategic business needs, challenges, and opportunities while providing support with strategic planning. Assist with recommending and implementing new techniques and technologies to achieve business goals.
-Analyze various Human Resources edit reports to ensure accurate data on employee records is maintained as necessary.
-Request reports of faculty up for tenure/promotion at the beginning of the year; prepares data for submission to the Office of the President and review by home departments; assist with process for Board of Regents agenda item on faculty tenure/promotion, including number of faculty.
-Analyze new hire records to ensure Onboarding data nd documents have been uploaded to Banner HR and Xtender imaging systems. Process corrections for missing data and images.
-Provide Human Resources operating policy information and guidance to end users.
-Act as a backup for processing employment verifications; provide customer service for departmental phone; ensure Prior State Service is appropriately credited to new employees; process Leave Without Pay (LWOP) forms.
-Other duties as required and appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
-Two years experience working with Human Resource employee records or an HRIS.
-Experience analyzing data and data entry.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
-Ability to work with little or no supervision.
-Strong problem-solving skills.
-Excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications
