Position Description
Advises individuals and provides guidance services regarding routine to complex issues in assigned area. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
Shares in responsibility for the Financial Aid Office.
Assist in the monitoring and assuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Responsible for performing the day to day operations of the Financial Aid Office
Assists in prioritizing and allocating workloads for support staff.
Serves as initial point of contact for all students regarding questions related to Financial Aid for Medical and Pharmacy students.
Responsible for assisting in the monitoring and updating of Banner with current Information.
Responsible for assisting in the dissemination of policy and procedures to the financial aid staff.
Review/verify FA applications, determine eligibility for FA programs specifically for Medical and Pharmacy students.
Insure accurate and appropriate record keeping as required by federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Monitor and review daily disbursements report for accuracy.
Assist in timely submission of required reports.
Monitor/verify institutional, state, and federal funds within regulations and reconciliations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
