Performs complex supervisory, coordinative and management duties in the preparation and publication of printed materials for assigned area. Responsible for the production process and may include scheduling, editing, and design issues. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established regulations and procedures.
Provides basic editing services for manuscripts, draft/final versions of grant applications, and any other research based document.
As directed by supervisor.
Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years progressively responsible related experience; OR a combination of specifically related education and/or experience to equal seven (7) years.
Four years experience in proposal/technical writing. Knowledge of state and federal funding agency regulations and guidelines; Successful track record of funded grant projects; Excellent writing and editing skills; Excellent communication skills; Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines for grant opportunities; Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate project needs; Ability to read, interpret, and apply state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
