Major/Essential Functions
  • Works with TTUHSC Marketing Director and External Relations Managing Director to develop and execute marketing plans for TTUHSC, and TTP at the Permian Basin.
  • Serves as the marketing liaison for all project requests for TTUHSC, and TTP at the Permian Basin.
  • Serves as the media liaison for all media needs for TTUHSC, and TTP at the Permian Basin.
  • Primary distributor of news releases and advisories upon approval by Communications Director.
  • Oversees the coordination of media attendance and provides assistance at TTUHSC functions with media access.
  • Works alongside External Relations Managing Director to develop and execute marketing plans for external events.
  • Manages, writes, plans, schedules and monitors social media for the Permian Basin.
  • Approves all written content for social media, website, and newsletters before distribution and ensures necessary leadership reviews and approves content as needed (i.e. Chancellor, President, and Deans).
  • Serves as the C&M representative for emergency communications including StatAlert, media notifications, threat assessment, and the campus Emergency Operations Command Center as needed.
  • Assists with the collection of campus data as requested by TTUHSC leadership and the Office of the Chancellor.
