Major/Essential Functions
The 86th Texas Legislature priorities focused heavily on behavioral/mental health and school safety.  The Campus Alliance for Telehealth Resources (CATR) Project is designated to roll out this program.  The CATR program is led by an executive team including the Director of the Texas Tech Mental Health Institute, the Chair of the Psychiatry Department, and the Executive Vice President and Director for the F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health.  This position to be part of this new program.  

Provides project management including adherence to budget, schedule and scope. Plans, schedules or coordinates projects activities to meet deadlines. Monitors project compliance. Coordinates the overall integration of the project. Supervises and directs project personnel; assigns duties and responsibilities. Manages the day-to-day operations of a specified area, including coordination of teleECHO clinic initiatives and deliverables.
  • Oversees project initiatives and the the day-to-day management of the team working with theSpokes or specific stakeholders.
  • Create and implement capacity building and quality improvement strategies based on the needsof spokes and or stakeholders.
  • Develop knowledge networks and the learning loop concept as spoke participants develop skillsusing the ECHO Model.
  • Direct guidance and coaching in the implementation of teleECHO clinics.
  • Uses experience with the ECHO Model to help train and assist Spoke participants inadapting/replicating the ECHO Model.
  • Participates and facilitates teleECHO clinic activities.
  • Assists with the development of tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with team members on ECHO educational curriculum/materials.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with employees.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, especially in the arena of chronic disease management.
  • Knowledge of patient evaluation and triage procedures.
  • Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
