Position Description
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Assist in the definition of project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables.  Involves all relevant stakeholders and ensuring educational, logistical, and financial feasibility. 
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 
  • Develop and execute a detailed project plan for project management to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Coordinate and/or manage appropriate committee functioning related to managed projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.  Present reports, as well as problems and solutions, to Director of Interprofessional (IPE) and relevant stakeholders. 
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Participate in strategic planning with the Director of Interprofessional Education (IPE) and relevant others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with interprofessional or interdisciplinary teamwork.  Proven working experience in project management.

Master's Degree preferred.  Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.  Familiarity with project and time management tools.  Experience with process improvement.  Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Advanced time management and analytical skills.  Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.  Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
