Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.
Coordinates the operations of the department’s graduate medical education including the functions of residents and medical students
Assists and disseminate annual rotation, clinic and call schedules
Meet with program directors on a regular basis to update on changes or issues to GME program
Coordinate educational activities that support program curriculum
Maintain the programs operating budget
Coordinate the program’s recruitment, application and interview process
Coordinates resident onboarding and orientation
Collect and review resident duty hour logs
Submit resident travel expenses for reimbursement
Obtain additional sources of financial support for the program, including submission of travel grants
Plans resident graduation activities
