|Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.|
The Program Coordinator in the Department of Medical Education will have the responsibility to become familiar with all aspects of the HRSA grant under the direction of the Principal Investigator to ensure targets and deadlines for reporting are met. This would include the ability to: (1) read guidelines, gather and analyze data and compile information for written reports; (2) prepare written reports and compile forms needed in the reporting guidelines as determined by HRSA; (3) develop relationships and identify contacts in rural settings while communicating effectively within TTUHSC to ensure grant success.
|High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.|
Grant project administration and evaluation experience are preferred along with the ability to deal with a wide variety of people and situations. Needs to have the ability to exercise independent judgment, establish priorities and work with a minimum of supervision while needing the skills to collect, compile and analyze data.
