This position is primarily responsible for compounding and dispensing medications to fill outpatient prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other qualified personnel, and for ensuring control of medications and pharmaceuticals within the Pharmacy. The person in this position serves as drug information source for medical personnel within the Student Health Clinic. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Pharmacist.
Student Health Services at Texas Tech University houses the on-campus Pharmacy serving Texas Tech students. The mission of Student Health Services is to proudly provide compassionate, high-quality and accessible healthcare to Texas Tech students.
The Pharmacist will help support the mission of Student Health by:
- Serving as a direct point of contact for pharmacy customers.
- Providing patient education regarding prescription medications.
- Communicating effectively with all Student Health departments, especially medical staff and nursing.

Minimum Hire Rate
Commensurate with experience.
Monday- Friday 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
Special Interest in customer service to Texas Tech University students.

Education: Graduated from an approved accredited School of Pharmacy. License/Certification: Certification by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Experience: At least one year of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
