Position Description
Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions
*Work with the Associate Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs to manage a marketing plan to support the mission of the School of Health Professions.
*Manage the social media presence for the School of Health Professions.
*Develop and implement a social media plan to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns. 
*Design, create and manage all published content.
*Analyze, review and implement content for the School of Health Professions website that is optimized to be picked up by search engines. 
*Assist with content development for the School of Health Professions announcement monitors and event calendar.
*Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of marketing and social media campaigns.
*Work with the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs with the development of School of Health Professions publications and marketing materials.
*Assist with School of Health Professions special events.
*Maintain an extensive knowledge of TTUHSC Brand Guidelines and  TTUHSC and SHP policies and procedures as they pertain to Communications & Marketing and social media.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) as well as web and digital standards and best practices. 
Strong writing and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with associates at all levels.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to think creatively and conceptually with attention to detail while managing many different deadlines.
