Provides clinical services to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients who are self or supervisory referred for assistance with personal problems. Also assists in managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the employee and health promotion services to faculty, staff, and students. Supervision will be provided on a daily basis by the Director of Employee Assistance Services and Medical Director of the Southwest Institute of Addictive Diseases. Employees in this classification will assist in staffing decisions. This position requires a significant amount of client contact and is required to be on call for emergency situations
* Carries a full caseload in any combination of individual, group, and family therapy while assisting in the planning, identification, and implementation of major project priorities. * Provides consultation services to supervisors and provides work site based programming such as educational and health promotion activities. * Participates in regularly scheduled staffing and supervision. * Assists in preparing EAP utilization reports and evaluation summaries. * Charts, biopsychosocials, treatment planning, patient problem lists, and other documentation as required by EAP standards and JCAHO. * Designs and evaluates EAP policy, procedures and programming. * Coordinates quality assurance of patient care activities. * May prepare or is responsible for the research and preparation of materials for publication. * May assist in the writing of annual reports and grant proposals. * May serve as a liaison between departmental officials and personnel on all levels within the TTU/TTUHSC system and the general public. * May relieve departmental officials of a wide variety of administrative duties and decisions in daily departmental operations. * Perform related duties as required.
+Education:+ A minimum of a Master's degree from an approved accredited university in Behavioral Sciences or related field. +Experience:+ At least two years of clinical experience in direct patient contact. Experience working with businesses, schools, churches, and service organizations.
