Position Description
Employees in this classification provide support in an assigned research laboratory. Duties include performing standard laboratory experiments and procedures on specimens from patients and/or experimental animals, routine maintenance and clean-up of the laboratory and caring for experimental animals. Work is performed under usual laboratory conditions. Some hazards may be present due to use of radioactive, carcinogenic or other potientially harmful substances.
