Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
Performs insurance verifications and eligibility, obtain prior authorization for procedures and surgery, obtain referral information for consultation visits, verify workman's compensation and obtain authorization and related paperwork. Communicate with the appropriate personnel, faculty or resident regarding insurance or appointment related findings, as appropriate.

Investigate and correct errors or denials relating to insurance or eligibility reasons and schedule patients for the MOHS (skin cancer) surgery.
