Position Description
Develop and redesign instructional materials and products using technology based resources for online courses. Assist faculty in learning about becoming proficient in and applying instructional technology.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Supports the One Team philosophy of Texas Tech
  • Collaborates with faculty and staff to enhance a wide array of Educational Technology needs
  • Develops, tests and implements accessibility of eLearning resources for nursing programs
  • Manages projects efficiently and with high attention to detail; meets deadlines consistently
  • Participates in regular meetings with SON ET Staff and project directors to insure proper integration of the processes and procedures regarding online courses, system upgrades and IT projects
  • Attends TTUHSC eLearning committee meetings and participates on various TTUHSC Technology committees and/or projects
  • Duties consist of identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technology issues for users of computer software and hardware.  Able to provide technology support in a call center environment; communicate clear solutions to end-users
  • Other duties as assigned by the SON ET Managing Director and Senior Director
  • Assists with new user orientation for School of Nursing students and faculty
  • Provides backup support for SON technology team
