Position Description
The multimedia journalist produces, reports, shoots, writes, voices, edits and/or feeds news production content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers. The position promotes a favorable and consistent image of the department and the university for internal and external audiences, and champions the accomplishments of students, faculty, and/or staff.

Major/Essential Functions
Oversees and manages content for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) HR web pages.  Manages an online advertising schedule and budget to promote job openings and career opportunities on social media and career websites.  Expands TTUHSC's online presence on different employment sites, developing creative ways to draw prospective employees to jobs.ttuhsc.edu and identifies new recruitment opportunities through social media.  Expands TTUHSC's online presence on different employment sites, developing creative ways to draw prospective employees to jobs.ttuhsc.edu and identify new recruitment opportunities through social media.  Produces creative persuasive copy for various social media platforms.  Plans and oversees production of supporting materials such as photography, videography and creative images.  Plans and executes online job fairs and internal town halls.
