Position Description
A non-recurring job having an appointment for less than four and one-half months with a nature of work consistent with that found in an office or administrative environment.

Major/Essential Functions

This is a temporary position assisting with divisional financing process.
  • Conduct daily operations of the InHT finances
  • Track expenditures in COGNOS reports
  • Track sub-recipient requests for payment
  • Compile and submit grant financial reports
  • Maintain accurate effort log on time spent on sponsored projects
  • Verify invoices with regard to contract type, charges, processes for payment by creating cover letter for Accounting Office and verifies payment coding
  • Does mathematical calculations
  • Manage all components of state, federal, local, and sponsored funding within InHT by following regulations and guidelines for grants and contracts
  • Maintain payroll listing by preparing electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs) for salary changes
  • Serves as liaison between management of FMHIRCH and TTUHSC Accounting, Purchasing, Sponsored Programs, Accounts Payable, Travel, Purchasing Card, other departments, as well as external partners and contractors
  • Reconciles InHT funds for monthly close
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Reviews employee travel for accuracy
  • Serves as member of the FMHIRCH Finance team
  • Process FiTS for monthly Managed Care Telemedicine referrals
  • Submit cost transfers and IPFTs as needed
  • Manage Frontiers in Telemedine uStore through TouchNet
  • Attend InHT and FMHIRCH staff meetings
  • Experience in COGNOS, TechBuy and other HSC processes preferred

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
