Major/Essential Functions
  • Clinic will be located at the Student Health Services clinic located on the Texas Tech University Campus.
  • Student Health Services serves as the primary care clinic for the student population of Texas Tech with a focus on urgent care, wellness visits, mental health, high-risk alcohol use, sexual health, sleep hygeine, nutrition, women’s health, and men’s health.
  • Partner with campus organizations such as the Student Recreational Center, Risk Intervention & Safety Education (RISE), and Student Counseling Center.
  • Hospital service 4 times per year.
  • Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
  • After hours call 4 times per month.

Minimal call (After hours call 4 times/month & Inpatient Services 4 times/year.

Required Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Graduated from an ACGME/AOA accredited Family Medicine residency program.

Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Demonstrated record of effectiveness as a teacher, a record of peer reviewed publication and/or peer-reviewed creative activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of study, to the candidate’s intellectual and artistic development, and to the quality of the academic enterprise; a record of professional service appropriate to the discipline; promise of growth in teaching and research or artistic and creative activity
