Major/Essential Functions
Internal Medicine at TTUHSC is looking for a mid to senior level faculty member to be the Chief of the Endocrinology division; the division consists of three other faculty members.  The Internal Medicine Department is currently expanding this division and the applicant should have the vision and expertise to create a comprehensive diabetes program and expand hospital coverage.  The position will also be tasked with creating a new in-patient and outpatient program with a local hospital partner.  Furthermore, in addition to supervising the division, the Chief position will have outpatient clinics and provide teaching for medical students and residents.  The division currently has a research program with lab space available and a mid-range goal for this role would be to create an Endocrinology Fellowship program.

Required Qualifications
