Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Adheres to the Values-Based Culture philosophy.
  • Follow all safety rules set by the TTUHSC Safety Services Office.
  • Assist with Federal Relations projects and events as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support and manage calendar for Governmental Relations AVP.
  • Research policies, funding, and policies as directed by the Governmental Relations AVP.
  • Make travel arrangements for Governmental Relations AVP.
  • Draft/Edit governmental relations proposals, correspondence, emails as requested.
  • Work with Digital Director and Social Media team to develop social media content for any of the TTUHSC social channels as needed.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share social content daily at the direction of the Digital Director.
  • Understand and perpetuate the digital strategic guidelines set by the university.
  • Capture and analyze data, metrics, insights and best practices for social channels.
  • Assist with answering department phone.

Required Qualifications
