The Donor Relations Manager is responsible for the oversight and execution for all Institutional Advancement stewardship activities.
- ?Manages HSC internal and external stewardship activities. Including but not limited to donor reporting, grant reporting, donor appreciation, gift acknowledgments, donor recognition.
Manages endowment activity for all HSC endowed funds and works with fund managers to ensure HSC policies are followed. Duties include: preparing and monitoring endowment earnings/spending reports, tracking professorship, and chair positions, preparing underutilized endowment report as needed, managing and executing grant and endowment reporting.
Manages all donor scholarship funds. Responsible for the oversite of awarding, stewarding, and reporting of scholarship funds. Oversees and coordinates the HSC scholarship committee to award all donor scholarships.
Manages department thank you correspondence for DO’s and /or TTUHSC President and TTUHSC Vice President of External Relations. Including but not limited to: thank you notes, memorial and honorarium gifts, acknowledgment letters, donor behaviors, and major gift anniversaries.
Ensures TTUHSC schools/departments are following best practices for stewardship of donor funds.
Oversees the execution of departmental stewardship collateral.
Provides stewardship plan for each development officer.
Provides essential and necessary functions of accountability of gifts to the university.
Assists with training of new staff, both in Lubbock and regional offices.
Follows all safety rules set by the HSC Safety Services Office.
Aligns with the TTUHSC Values Culture.
Assists as needed with Institutional Advancement projects and events as assigned.
Assists/back-up for answering phones for department
Assists/back-up for deposits of donor funds received.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.

Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years. (Work experience excludes volunteer work).
