Position Description
Performs responsible and complex duties associated with a specialized function of a section of clerical employees in a correctional institution

Major/Essential Functions
Supports the Service Plus Philosophy of Texas Tech 
Complies with TDCJ and TTUHSC Polices and Procedures
Schedules appointments for clinic , assuring compliance to access to care guidelines
Keep statistical records of card provided by the dental department and prepares month reports
Answers the telephone for clinic 
Responds to sick call request and obtains authentication from dentist or assistant
Manages inmates passages and instructs  inmates  about appointment process 
Ensures all necessary supplies and forms are stocked in clerk area
Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Three years progressively responsible clerical experience. Additional education and/or related experience to equal three years may substitute on a year for year basis.
