This position will assist in advising prospective students as well as act as a liaison between applicants and Admissions Coordinators.
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Assist in locating preceptorships for graduate nursing students.
Assist in recruiting new preceptors for all SON Graduate tracks.
Assist in the development and maintenance of external clinical learning partnerships for graduate nursing students.
Work collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and clinical agencies.
Update, on a continuous basis, the TTUHSC SON Graduate Preceptor Directory.
Manage processes for out of state students for Board of Nursing approval for graduate nursing students.
Serve as liaison for TTUHSC-SON to the partnership sites and for staff and faculty.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Hire Rate
Baccalaureate degree. Effective verbal/written skills in negotiating/communicating with health care professionals and organizations.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated success of working collaboratively with health care professionals. Demonstrated success using various strategies to form effective clinical learning partnerships.
