Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Supports the Service Plus Philosophy of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
  • Complies with TDCJ and TTUHSC policy and procedures including all necessary paperwork
  • Ensures timely and accurate submission of all Personnel Action Forms.
  • Schedules and performs all new employee orientations.
  • Collects, analyzes and disseminates all job requisitions and Position Description Questionnaires.
  • Ensures timely submission of all payroll information accurately and completely.  This includes compiling, reviewing and submitting all contract employee payroll data.
  • Maintaining Psych Nursing personnel files.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected.

  • Good working relations with co-workers

  • Good Organizational Skills

  • Knowledge of Payroll and completing time sheets

  • 3 years clerical experience with 1 year of payroll experience
