Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Coordinate 3rd and 4th year medical student schedules to include rotation schedule, lecture schedule, meetings, and exams.
  • Coordinate medical student orientation and maintain orientation packets. Assist Clerkship Director with updating medical student syllabus and faculty handbook for new incoming students and faculty.
  • Distribute evaluations and monitor assignments of medical students.
  • Prepare final grade reports for the Office of Medical Education.
  • Attend Clerkship meetings and other educational training.
  • Provide clerical support for the department faculty and administrative staff.
  • Assist Department Chairman and Department Manager as needed.
