|Provides advance professional services related to diagnosis and treatment of inmate patients. Coordinates the delivery of dental care within an administrative region of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Correctional Health System ensuring that the appropriate dental care is accessible and provided in a timely fashion.|
| Directs, coordinates, and insures the provision of the full range of dental services within the region.|
Acts as the regional dental authority in matters of regional discussions.
Works with organizational and state-wide leadership to achieve common objectives.
Manages and oversees regional dental operations in compliance with all applicable rule sets.
Monitors operations of dental clinics by reviewing and interpreting monthly reports, reviewing charts and inspecting clinics.
Serves as expert witness when requested.
Performs all duties of a correctional dentist.
Investigates and responds to inquiries, complaints and grievances.
Teams with HR, EEOC and other leaders to make wise personnel decisions.
Engages the HR process to ensure staffing for facilities.
Gives presentations to the public, to peers and to government over-seers.
Communicates effectively 360.
Persists in leading change.
Serves as champion for system improvement.
Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed to be determined and assigned as needed.

|+Education:+ Graduation from an accredited School of Dentistry.+Experience:+ Eight years of experience.+Licenses/Certifications:+ * Must hold a current license to practice dentistry by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. * Must hold current Drug Enforcement Agency and Texas Department of Public Safety controlled substances registration certificates.|
