Position Description
Performs coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
Greet visitors entering suite and answering phone.
Assist with processing of deposits and/or cash receipts.
Prepare requisitions as needed/ensure funds are available; process receiving documents and monitor vendor payments.
Assist with reconciling Bursar reports; prepare monthly billings; assist with maintaining worksheet of funds distributed to student
Assist with departmental fund reconciliations, budget revisions, PO and Encumbrances changes.

Preferred Qualifications
Must have job related experience that includes knowledge of accounting practices.  Must be proficient with PC's, office equipment, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.  Must have attention to detail as well as exceptional planning and organizational skills.  Must have the ability to work effectively with all levels of organization.  Previous experience in higher education setting is a plus.  Must have the ability to deal with potential problems courteously and tactfully.  Current drivers license and insurance helpful.
