Position Description
Performs coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Order supplies for the department and student laboratory.

  • Provide faculty support as needed.

  • Coordinate travel and submit applications and vouchers.

  • Schedule appointments, meetings and rooms as needed.

  • Maintain departmental records.

  • Help maintain student records within Xtender.

  • Maintain procurement card records and receipt notebooks.

  • Review and maintain balance for Departmental Chair accounts to include pcard reconciliation.

  • Serve as backup role for organization and scheduling interviews for MP and CLS applicants.

  • Assembles agendas and maintains faculty/staff meeting minutes.

  • Assist clinical coordinator with affiliate paperwork and coordinating preceptorship assignments and packets to affiliates for MP, CLS traditional and CLS online programs.

  • Assists with examination proctoring within the department.

  • Effectively communicate among staff members about day to day functions within the department.

  • Compilation of departmental reports using Excel.

  • Supports the mission of the Department of Educational Technology and the Educational Technology Committee by collaborating with the Associate Dean and other committee members on establishing operational processes, policy development, improving outcome measures, compliance reporting and managing the fiscal business affairs of the department.

  • Assist with licensure and membership renewal for the Department.

  • Coordinate the calendar for the Department Chair / Associate Dean of Educational Technology.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
