Position Description
Performs coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
* Assist with compiling, tracking, reporting and analyzing TTUHSC space usage.
* Provide computer-aided drafting of TTUHSC owned and leased properties when needed.
* Assist with maintaining TTUHSC facility archives (both physical and electronic versions).
* Assist when needed with maintenance on assigned Facilities & Safety Services fleet vehicles.
* Assist with maintaining electronic database of all required facilities information.
* Completes a variety of activities, assigned tasks and special roles in support of the institutional and departmental mission, goals and objectives.

Schedule Details
Normal schedule is Monday thru Friday 8 to 5.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of drafting techniques and procedures.  Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite or similar is highly desired.  Ability to interpret building construction drawings and gather related information to generate accurate building floor plans.  Ability to develop memos, spreadsheets and related electronic documents through a variety of softwares and technologies.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.

* Must have and maintain valid State of Texas Drivers License and be listed as an approved driver as determined by TTUS Office of Risk Management and insurance carrier.  Must be able to pass the employee Criminal Background Check.
* Conducts and performs other job related duties as deemed necessary and assigned by supervisory personnel.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
