Major/Essential Functions
The Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking to recruit a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member within the Adult Medicine Division based on our Abilene campus. The successful candidate will practice part-time, providing comprehensive adult medicine pharmacy services at Hendrick Medical Center. The School of Pharmacy has partnered with the Hendrick Medical Center for over 10 years to provide outstanding patient care and educational programs. The faculty member’s primary teaching responsibilities will include development and delivery of didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based, and experiential teaching within the School of Pharmacy curriculum. The successful candidate will also engage in scholarship and training of pharmacy residents.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed a PGY1 Pharmacy residency or equivalent.  A PGY2 in Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy, Board certification, and teaching experience is strongly preferred.  Licensure or eligibility to be licensed in the state of Texas is required.  Professional level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
