Position Description
Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major/Essential Functions

*Involvement in student learning and institutional research
*Advise students regarding program requirements and Program Directors in degree planning
*Assist in the development of innovative programs in health management and leadership

*Provide program management support regarding instructional design and compliance
*Assist Program Directors in onboarding new adjunct faculty and sustainment training
*Assist in establishing national-level recognition regarding health related programs
* Contribute to the department’s practice plan through coordinated consulting opportunities
*Service to the department, campus and university-wide committees
*Engagement in on-going research in the field of healthcare
*Service to the profession and to the wider community
*Participation in professional development

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with the following academic and/or research backgrounds: Curriculum Design/Instruction plus Health Policy/Management and/or Public Health academic/research and/or consultative experience.  Evidence of the potential for scholarly research and a demonstrated potential to gain grant funding from external agencies and/or organizations may also be considered. Salary is commensurate with experience. 

*Experience teaching undergraduate, graduate courses and/or professional development curriculum in online delivery models
*Experience with course and program development at the undergraduate, graduate and/or professional development level

*Demonstrated administrative abilities to program manage both full-time and part-time online adjunct faculty concerning curriculum design, instruction, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and continual curriculum improvement strategic initiatives
