Major/Essential Functions
The Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member within the Geriatrics/Pediatrics Division based on our Lubbock campus. The faculty member will provide outpatient comprehensive medication management with a focus in geriatrics in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center TTUHSC. The faculty member’s teaching responsibilities will include didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based, and experiential teaching within the School of Pharmacy curriculum. The faculty member will engage in scholarship and service and will be expected to train pharmacy residents.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a PGY1 residency in Pharmacy Practice and a PGY2 residency in Ambulatory Care or Geriatrics, or equivalent experience. Board Certification and teaching experience are strongly preferred. Licensure or eligibility to be licensed in the state of Texas is required. The professorial level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
