Major/Essential Functions
Diagnose, treat and support patients with multiple organ dysfunction. Arrange for the provision of life support or organ support systems in patients who are critically ill. Facilitate and coordinate patient care among primary care physicians, critical care staff and other specialists. Take an active role in the supervision and medical education of setting. Participate in scholarly activities including continuing medical education, research and publication.

Preferred Qualifications
M.D. Degree or Foreign Medical Equivalent, plus completion of three (3) year Internal Medicine Residency and two (2) year Critical Care Fellowship. BC/BE in Internal Medicine/Critical Care Medicine or BC/BE in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine. Must be eligible to obtain Texas State Medical License.
