Major/Essential Functions
The Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member within the Adult Medicine Division based on our Abilene campus. The faculty member will provide adult medicine patient care services in the ICU step-down unit at Hendrick Medical Center. The School of Pharmacy has partnered with the Hendrick Medical Center for over 10 years to provide outstanding patient care and educational programs. The faculty member’s teaching responsibilities will include didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based, and experiential teaching within the School of Pharmacy curriculum. The faculty member will engage in scholarship and service and will have the opportunity to train pharmacy residents.

Preferred Qualifications
A PGY2 residency in Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy, Board certification, and teaching experience are strongly preferred.    Faculty Rank will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Position not available for start until 09/01/2020.

Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completion of a PGY1 residency in Pharmacy Practice is required. Licensure or eligibility to be licensed in the State of Texas is required.
