Position Description
Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Create and process purchase orders for the office, monitor inventory, maintain records, process travel requests, order food and promotional items as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and other entities.
  • Communicate with facilities for room reservations, and any other items needed for IPE meetings, events, and activities.
  • Operate office equipment including, but not limited to: computer, copier, scanner, and other related equipment.
  • Reconcile Procurement Card monthly and ensure all employees follow protocol.
  • Provide administrative support to direct supervisor(s) and assists in other administrative areas as needed.
  • Help set up and break down events, organize items and logistics needed for IPE events, presentations, and activities.
  • Prepare material, obtain copies, coordinate meals, distribute evaluations, sign-in sheets, & handouts/flyers, room set up, etc. for meetings.
  • Monitor departmental reporting deadlines and the accurate reporting of all institutional and office reporting requirements.

Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with working in a higher education environment.  Ability to work with others in a team environment across various schools, departments, and offices. 

Proficient technological skills and ability to learn organization-specific systems and databases.  Ability to manage electronic calendars.  Proficient with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Excellent organizational skills.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.

Required Qualifications
