Position Description
Analyzes and coordinates student records to ensure degree plan accuracy.

* Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, campus policies and administrative regulations * Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to advising * Prepare reports on students as required by administration * Review transcripts and other data to ensure that students meet requirements * Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to handle administrative details independently. Ability to effectively communicate with various groups, students,
faculty, and staff members. Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst. Technical expertise
regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques Strong knowledge of and
experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL
frameworks) Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS
etc) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of
information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Pay Statement

Occasional Duties
This individual will be responsible for data collection and management for students in the School of Medicine.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintenance and population of data repositories and databases, creation of
standard and customized reports according to a regular timeline, collaboration on data analysis projects, including
generation of final student reports prior to graduation.

Required Qualifications
