Position Description
To work with the President and the Executive Officers of the component departments in the coordination and execution of their responsibilities in carrying out the mission of Texas Tech University.

  • Overseeing Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI) initiative.
  • Overseeing institutional effectiveness (accreditation, quality improvement initiatives, etc.)
  • Special projects as assigned by the President

Preferred Qualifications
Broad knowledge of institutional effectiveness standards and processes. Knowledge in accreditation guidelines and processes. Demonstrated leadership skills related to accreditation and quality improvement processes. A team player and collaborator.

Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD or MD) or equivalent; eleven years related experience and/or training. Prior leadership role at health-related institution.

Faculty member - TTU. Experience working with minority, traditional, and non-traditional populations including experience implementing creative and effective programs. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, with strong public relations and communication, management, and organizational skills.
