Position Description
Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Runs and analyzes reports with regards to contract volume, reimbursement levels, and clinical activity to provide recommendations to Sr. Director (for process improvement and business opportunities).
  • Runs informatics reports regularly and accurately. Stays up-to-date on training requirements and software updates to maximize use of available resources.
  • Tracks & reviews existing contracts & assures they are updated as dictated by contract start/end dates Monitors ASC contract effective, renewal, and end dates, initiates administrative process for renewal or termination, tracks physical location of contracts/amendments routed for execution.
  • Collaborate with departments to develop controls and streamline processes to ensure contract obligations are met. Communicates with respective departments and personnel to confirm processes are in place to fulfill contract requirements; keeps departments and personnel informed and updated on contract requirements and changes.
  • Remains abreast of new and emerging reimbursement and market trends and/or regulatory PC Phone Research and maintains specific data analytics to respond to identified changing trends.
  • Recommends operational/strategic changes requirements specifically as it relates to commercial,governmental plan expansions, and managed of commercial reimbursement. The results will be communicated to the Sr. Director for further strategies.
  • Supervises, directly, Lead Analysts including technical direction and resource management guidance.
  • Prepares and manages project list to meet departmental needs. Communicates on a frequent basis to develop and manage progress.
  • Reviews and implements work plans detailing the operational steps and time lines for Managed Care negotiations. Collaborates with internal and external leadership and modify program plans, as necessary.
  • Provides Leadership and Creates strategic plans for TTUHSC's Managed Care critical projects.

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems; detail oriented with experience in managing multiple projects
simultaneously. Basic knowledge of contract terminology. Prior experience in health plans and government programs.
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration.

Required Qualifications
