Major/Essential Functions
  • Develops fundraising activity plans that maximize participation within the Annual Fund. Design and execute a coordinated annual giving program targeting alumni, employees, corporations, local business and other. Maintains an active portfolio through statistical analysis and research to better target annual funds
  • Drafts and edits correspondence to donors. Reconciles gifts and maintains thank you gift/donation giving database. Maintains stewardship database
  • Identifies relationships with potential donors. Organize and execute fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events for TTUHSC El Paso. Create background research profiles and strategy memos on key donors and manage and organization's cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects and donors
  • Provides administrative support for the Office of Institutional Advancement (IA). Create appeal and acknowledgment letters, materials and program reports. Be proactive in analyzing data in friend- fundraising and modify campaigns. Plan and execute fundraising strategy targeted towards workplace giving and developing tailored plans, as appropriate. Identify important business needs of corporate clients; effectively communicate those needs within the organization to management
  • Assists with Institutional Advancement / Development projects and events as assigned. Conduct follow up after the conclusion of events. Be proactive in analyzing appeal/event productivity in friends and fundraising and modify campaigns/events based on outcome

Preferred Qualifications
  • Coordinator title is used across the TTU system in various departments as part of the compensation plan.  This position (Annual Giving Officer) is housed in the Office of Institutional Advancement and as such, due to the complex nature of the job, a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication, or equivalent plus one year experience in marketing and or events (statistics and reports, campaigns advertisement). Candidates should also be proficient in design software.
